The teacher sets the task and shares the relevant materials.
The assignment is submitted.
But was the learning?
Give every student a place to read, learn and think independently — and give teachers a way to check the understanding behind submitted work.

Knowing what was submitted is easy. Knowing what was understood is harder.
In an AI-rich classroom, a polished assignment tells only part of the story. Teachers also need to hear the student's reasoning, see how they arrived at an answer and help them improve.
ilmVault is built around a different starting point: the student thinks first. From an assignment to evidence of understanding.
A clear workflow that keeps students actively thinking and puts teachers in control of the feedback that matters.
The student puts their own initial thinking into words.
The student completes and submits their work.
Targeted questions test how well the student understands their submission.
The teacher reviews the evidence and provides feedback.
Every subject. Every resource. One place.
Give students an organised subject library with teacher-shared books, study resources and PDF or EPUB uploads.

Reading that feeds
real thinking.
Students do not just collect notes. They mark what matters, respond to reading prompts in their own words and build an evolving record of how they think.
Highlight with purpose.
Choose a highlight type — not just a colour. Capture a core idea, practical how-to, evidence, connection or something to revisit, and add a note explaining why it matters.

Think First. Then hear from the coach.
Students predict, explain and reconsider an idea before receiving AI guidance. Those responses supply practice evidence for their Thinking Profile rather than simply recording which pages they opened.

See how understanding develops over time.
The five-lens Thinking Profile brings together evidence of understanding, analysis, challenge, application and reflection. Practice based on reading is distinguishable from teacher-verified assignment evidence.
Less answer generation.
More visible thinking.
Built for students to do the thinking and for teachers to see it — not merely to detect whether AI might have been used.
Think First, then learn
Students express their own ideas before the coach responds with guidance, questions or feedback.
Understanding Checks
Students respond to questions about their submitted assignment in a dedicated assessment flow with AI assistance unavailable during the check.
Thinking Profiles
Follow how students reason across Understand, Analyse, Challenge, Apply and Reflect. Reading and guided-learning responses build practice evidence; teacher-reviewed assignments are shown separately.
A better experience for teachers and students.
Connected workflows, with distinct dashboards and the right tools for each role.
One home for everything they learn.
More than an assignment portal: a personal environment to organise materials, read and build thinking skills.
- Student dashboard with tasks and progress
- Subject Vaults with PDFs, EPUBs and notes
- Think First assignment workflow
- Personal Thinking Profile built from responses
Go beyond the submitted document.
Set the work, provide the materials and review how well students can explain what they submitted.
- Teacher dashboard for classes and assignments
- Upload and organise teaching materials by subject
- Create and distribute student assignments
- Review Understanding Checks and provide feedback
Institution-level administration supports subject allocation and role separation. Understanding Checks provide evidence of understanding; they are not a guarantee of authorship or protection against every form of misconduct.
Help shape what comes next for learning.
We're opening a small first cohort for schools, colleges and universities exploring a more thoughtful approach to AI-assisted education.

Who can register for the pilot?
Schools (including K–12), colleges and universities are welcome to register their interest. Pilot place confirmation follows registration.
What does the Understanding Check actually do?
After students submit an assignment, they are asked targeted questions about their own work. Teachers can review the responses and provide feedback to help determine what the student genuinely understands. It is not an AI-authorship detector.
Can teachers add their own study materials?
Yes. The institution experience includes subject-based libraries and teacher-shared materials, with support for PDF and EPUB resources.
Does registering guarantee a pilot place?
No. Pilot places are limited to 10 institutions. Interest is handled in order received, and we will confirm participation directly.
What happens after I register?
The ilmMind team will contact you with details about the pilot, onboarding and next steps. Commercial terms and deployment scope can be discussed directly.
